Jesus never built a Church in which to worship His Father. He did not have a building in which to preach His message. He di not have a holy place in which He performed His miracles of healing. No, Jesus went to the people where they were in order to preach, to teach, and to perform miracles. Jesus went to the people, and then, as He became more well known, the people came to Him.

 

That is precisely what we are trying to emulate as we leave the church on the Sunday morning of October
12. We are going out into our surrounding communities to BE the Church! We are going to silently speak the words of Jesus with our acts of service. What we will be doing will be made clear in each Sunday’s bulletin as well as by the teachings that are delivered by Pastor Kent over the next few weeks.

 

 

On Sunday, October 12, we will meet at the Church at 9 a.m. for prayer and a few announcements. If you haven’t been given your tee shirt, you’ll get it that morning, and then you will leave for your chosen job site (adults AND children). At a designated time, you’ll return to church for a few hymns, a short worship time, some shared testimony and a catered lunch to which you can invite people you encounter.

 

This can be a very special Sunday. . .don’t fail to return your sign up sheet!! You’ll definitely be blessed by all that happens!
